U really made me realize once again the many l'il, but, meaningful things that we take it for granted 'cos we think we are 'normal'!! I used to watch my previous neighbour who was blind, but, he appreciated even the smallest thing as a leaf,which we normally don't even glance more than a second....he wld hold it, feel the shape, the texture etc etc and I used to think how much we miss out on all those senses gifted to us all b'cos we take things for granted, 'cos we can see...whereas...to think abt it...are we really 'seeing'...in its true meaning!! Same is the case with all our other senses...just not appreciating the gifts we have!! We just keep complaining abt the small things in life which don't really count, instead of appreciating the many gifts n blessings we have in our life!! Hi da….this was really touching….yep! The common man tends to ignore such small wonders that life has to offer. We take for granted the small things in life and when it comes to a ride in the public transport system, we pride in complaining about the weather, waiting time and the commute itself.
